Glamorous Night

Burdened with prejudices, Haji-Toma kills his son who wants to marry a beautiful Gypsy girl Koštana, who is then forced to marry the man she's not in love with.

The only daughter of the Chief of a band of gypsies, Reshma is strangely drawn to the only son of a rich and wealthy man, Kunverji. Strangely enough also, she finds out that Kunverji has drawn a portrait of her's even before they met each other. When Kunverji looks into this further, he finds that both he and Reshma are lovers from a past birth, and they were fated to meet in this birth, as they were unable to wed each other in the last birth. This fascinates both of them, however, Reshma's and Kunverji's dads are furious at this, and attempt to make sure that the two are separated. Reshma has been promised to wed Shakti Singh; and Kunverji is to wed, Neha. Will these two lovers be separated again during this birth?

La Esmeralda is a ballet in three acts and five scenes, inspired by the novel Notre-Dame de Paris by Victor Hugo, originally choreographed by Jules Perrot to music by Cesare Pugni, with sets by William Grieve and costumes by Mme. Copère.

In the early part of this century, Maddelena a teenage Italian girl, is attacked whilst walking in the woods. The attack leaves her mentally scarred and our story flashes forward to the 1940s where Maddelena is still troubled. She disappears one day and her daughter vows to find her.

Carmen is taking a course in her neighborhood studying home care for the sick and elderly, sponsored by the government with the aim of social inclusion of the Gypsy people. Meanwhile, behind the discreet behavior of her everyday life, Carmen has a secret love life that defies the strict rules of her community.
