After Theo Caputo and Jared Radcliffe’s Dads both die in a motorcycle crash- following a rest stop robbery gone wrong- all the pair are left with is the burden of responsibility. Jared, wishing to recreate the cult of personality that surrounded his father, founds the Angels of Radcliffe- a youth biker movement hell bent on reclaiming their diesel fueled “birthright”. Theo, wanting nothing more than the return of the family he’d once known, decides to join. All of this changes as Theo’s childhood best friend, Kian, moves back to town (following his mother’s victory in hard-fought custody battle). Theo & Kian’s connection goes deeper than just friends, but Theo- being afraid of what might happen to Kian if the Angels found out- keeps the true nature of their “connection” between the two of them.
