It’s Christmas Eve and SALLY is feeling ignored by her parents since the recent arrival of her baby brother. When a blizzard carries SALLY to a magical land, she meets three new friends: DRYCLEAN ONLY (a snowman with “snow-for-brains”), CANDY (a candy cane with a less-than-sweet disposition), and ANTLER (a scaredy-cat reindeer). They set out on a journey to warn THE WIZARD OF CLAUS about the havoc the mischievous KRAMPUS--and her bumbling ICE MITES--are wreaking on this magical land. Will they make it in time?!

This film tells a story of ethnic Koreans from Russia and the post-Soviet territories making their new home in New York City. The history of the diaspora is told through conversations with Lidiya Kan’s mother, personal stories, fragmented memories, and her family photo archive. An important character of the film is Morkovcha, the Korean carrot salad, an invention of the Russian Korean diaspora; its essence is symbolic of their mixed identity.
