"Tales of the Bizarre: 2024 Summer Special" (世にも奇妙な物語 '24夏の特別編) aired on Fuji TV on June 8, 2024, featuring four intriguing stories: 1. "Weekly Ex-Lover Creation" A woman assembles an android replica of her ex-boyfriend using a magazine kit, blurring the lines between reality and artificiality.

Himuro (Yasukaze Motomiya), Captain of the Kyowa Clan and Tamura (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi), the Chief of Headquarters, are arrested on suspicion of assault. Sakaguchi (Takashi Kitadai), the fourth leader in the Yamazaki Family, and other members of the group scramble to prove their innocence. In doing so, they discover the existence of a gold smuggling ring and an international espionage organization behind the case.

The body of a professor is discovered at a university lecture hall suspended from the ceiling of the stage, with a series of mysterious numbers written on the curtains nearby. Professor Eiko, a law professor at the university well versed in criminology, is asked to assist police in the investigation, and he uncovers clues that point to him as a suspect. Why is he being set up? As he and his assistant work to decipher the code left on the curtains, another professor at the university is murdered. And yet another mysterious code is left at the scene of the crime.

Commemorating the 25th anniversary of the series. In this work, we collaborate with five popular manga artists such as Go Nagai, Junji Ito, Eiichiro Oda, Kazuo Umezu and Masayuki Ishikawa.
