1918, Castelao leaves his public position in Pontevedra to work as a doctor in Rianxo during the Spanish flu. A hero for the town, but an absent man for his wife, Virxinia. 1929, the couple travels through Britain a few months after the loss of their only son. In the near future, the Government aims to replace judges with Artificial Intelligence software, pledging to effectively automate and depoliticize the justice system. Carmen Costa, a distinguished judge, has been invited to assess this new procedure. However, when the software’s creator is found dead, she realizes her life is in danger and that she will have to fight the powerful interests that are at play in the highest echelons of the State.

Mario, an exemplary man, lives in a village on the Galician coast. In the old people’s home, where he works as a nurse, everyone appreciates him. When the best known narco in the area, Antonio Padín, recently released from prison, enters the residence, Mario tries to make Antonio feel at home. Now, Padín's two sons, Kike and Toño, are in charge of the family business. The failure of an operation will put Kike in jail and cause them to owe a large debt to a Colombian supplier. Toño will turn to the nurse to try to convince his father to assume the debt. But Mario has his own plans.

A tale in four times based in a theatrical performance inspired in the dramatic poem Brand by Henrik Ibsen. Brand wakes up next to a tree in the middle of a desolate space. He seems not remember who is he or what he is doing there. After wandering aimlessly, he meets three unknown who don't speak a word. Without knowing exactly what they want from him, Brand, who sees in everything what surrounds him biblical signs of a divine mission, lets himself be guided by them. From that moment, everything develops as a tale at the same time naive and cruel, in a rough, rude and primitive environment.

When the troubled son of an NGO worker refuses to take a test and announces that he is not leaving his room, his concerned mother asks one of her clients, a Cuban exile, for help in setting the boy straight. Gonzalo has decided to drop out of school, and his mother Ana isn't sure how to convince the boy that he's making a crucial mistake. Ana's client Carlos is a Cuban exile who makes his living selling cigars and artwork on the black market. When Carlos learns of Ana's dilemma, he calls on recently released convict Mikel to teach the boy how to play chess. Perhaps is young Gonzalo can master the game, he can learn to start living again. As the lessons get underway, each of these characters learns that in order to truly move on with their lives they much first break free of the bonds that prevent them from being who they really are.

Ramón Sampedro is a ship mechanic and part-time poet left a quadriplegic following a diving accident. Ramón fought for 30 years for the legal right to end his own life. He develops close relationships with his long-term lawyer Julia and his friend Rosa, who tries to convince him that his life is worth living. Despite his situation, Ramón manages to inspire those around him to live life to the fullest.
