The Tuscan Giuseppe, after a lifetime spent working in a company in Biella, reaches the well-deserved retirement; but soon he is forced to confront the boredom of retired life.

This documentary examines the life and legacy of controversial Italian filmmaker Lucio Fulci through interviews with his colleagues, each of whom answers the question, "What is your fondest memory of Lucio Fulci?". The responses are as varied as the people who knew the late writer-director, providing a nuanced look at the man behind such gory grindhouse classics as City of the Living Dead and The House by the Cemetery.

Antonio Lombardi, a seventy-year-old pensioner and former seafarer, lives with his son, Luca, and his family, sharing a room with his nephew. After a morning spent at the post office to collect his pension, the old man returns home loaded with sweets and cigarettes which he has to hide to avoid being scolded by his parents. The son and daughter-in-law, without noticing him, discuss how his presence is a nuisance in the small apartment.

A montley group of free-lance photographers are desperate to grab a good shot of a celebrity.

Baron Jacopo lives with his beautiful wife and spends his days playing funny pranks and worrying about not having children. His life could change when a young revolutionary, Leonardo, enters the scene, belonging to a group to which Jacopo has procured weapons for fun. Leonardo, encouraged by Jacopo himself, will actively participate in the couple's sexual activity; then he will impregnate the woman and leave the palace.

Michael Woods stars as Tony Giordani, a narcotics agent who learns that his wife has been murdered while he is recuperating from an attack by a mysterious stranger. His boss thinks it's a Mafia vendetta, but Tony follows the clues to an empty house which his wife had been photographing on the day of her murder. There, he finds a burned corpse and several clues leading to the Full Moon Killer, who has been decapitating prostitutes around the city. The owner of the house is an insane countess, whose escape from an asylum leads to yet another murder. Before long, Tony and his partner, Lisa, with whom he is engaged in a passionate affair, find themselves targeted for murder unless they can solve the case.

The master of Italian horror, Lucio Fulci, stars as... Lucio Fulci, a filmmaker with a reputation for gruesome horror films. His body of work has started to plague his mental state, and he is haunted by the grotesque set-pieces his mind has conjured up during his career. His psychiatrist, Egon Schwarz, uses a hypnotised Fulci as an avatar to carry out his own disturbed fantasies, in hopes of ruining the master’s reputation once and for all.
