Monk San Te tries to support and protect Shaolin and her Fang Shih-yu who purposely attacks corrupt Ching officials.

Following a raid led by a deadly Manchu enforcer (Lo Lieh), rebels Hong Si Kuan (Lo Meng), Fong Sai Yuk (Wong Yu) and Hu Huei Chian (Chin Siu Ho) seek refuge at the Shaolin Temple. However, the strict rules of the temple don’t suit rascals Fong and Hu, and their mischievous antics lead to scuffles with the young monk Wu Qing (Gordon Liu Chia Hui). Things get worse when Fong frees a mad monk (Chun Wong) from his hidden cell, and Hui falls for a pretty local lass. Meanwhile, the fierce Manchu rebel-hunter is still lurking nearby, determined to find his prey whatever the cost!

This is one of those -"who did it" -murder movies put out by Shaw Brothers. In this one, a bunch of Mainlanders come to Hong Kong for a better life. Instead, these Mainlanders are jobless and wind up killing, robbing, and selling drugs for a Dai Lo. Tired of getting chicken scratch from their Dai Lo for all the work they've done, the Mainlanders (about 4 or 5) decide to do a big job for themselves by trying to rob a jewelry store. The heist goes awry with all the Mainlanders being apprehended by the HKRP. They all to go to jail and do their time and get discharged. Once out, the Mainlanders are getting "rubbed off" one by one and the HKRP do not have a clue. Luckily, one member, Yeh Hung (Lo Meng), of the Mainlander gang is still in jail who still has time. So, Inspector Wong (Jason Pai Piao) decides to cut Yeh Hung loose and let him walk the streets as bait to bring the killer out.

Tou Kuan, a spoiled affluent kid, travels with pal Mai Song to Beijing to challenge 3 Masters to improve Kuan's status. Along the way, they contend with inept assassins hired by Kuan's uncle, who wants the family business and fortune.

Former wife of Chow Yun Fat, Candice Yu On-on stars in this gauzy softcore flick directed by Chor Yuen. Chun (Yu) is a high-class society woman who secretly dabbles in every sort of vice, from arranging murder to kidnapping young girls to serve as sex slaves for her brothel. One such lass is the beautiful Ai-nu, who manages to fight her way out of getting gang raped by Chun's minion. When she is recaptured, she promptly kills one of her first customers. Ai-nu's spunk intrigues Chun, prompting her to not only cover up the lass' crime but also seduce her as well. Detective Ling Yun (Alex Man Chi-leung) soon suspects something is amiss and begins investigating Chun's brothel over the objections of his superiors. When Ai-nu falls for Yun, Chun orders her lackey/lover Yeh to kill him. Instead, he tries to seduce Ai-nu himself. ~ Jonathan Crow, Rovi

Eddie Chan plays Fa, a psychotic loser, always between jobs, who never seems to have his prerogative s straight. His girlfriend at the time, Ah Hsia (Chiang Li Ping) even starts to think he is psycho and decides to call off their relationship. Fa, being a psycho that he is, is unable to take the word "no" for answer as he constantly hounds Ah Hsia and her family and practically stalks her. (Why doesn't Ah Hsia knee this guy in the nuts??) Worse comes to worst, as Ah Hsia cannot stand Fa any longer and practically disappears off the face of the earth and starts another life, albeit in Hong Kong, but far enough from the crazy Fa. Fa, still thinking of Ah Hsia, manages to get involved in a relationship with a PR girl named Hsing (Elaine Kam), to soothe over his desire for a female companion. Eventually, Fa spots Ah Hsia again, and this time he will not let her go. Man! This Fa is crazy.

A small town is protected by one of the famous Ten Tigers of Kwangtung. The town is very safe as Ti Lung and his Kung Fu students patrol for criminals. Enter the rival Kung Fu school whom Ti Lung's students have beaten in a lion dance competition and then humiliated in a brawl. The rival school is joined by an opium dealing Kung Fu master who plans to turn the town into a community of addicts!

The screen practically explodes with colorful characters and kung-fu -- all directed, co-written, and co-choreographed by Lu Chun-ku, and showcasing some of the best Shaw Brothers action stars. The original Bastard Swordsman was just the beginning, this superlative cult classic that out-phantasmagoricals the original.
