The story of the life of a Serbian prince Rastko Nemanjić - Saint Sava.

The story is set on the day of bombing of RTS (Serbian national TV) in 1999, which follows five characters whose paths intertwine on the fateful night.

Nenad, ten years Christian boy from a Serbian enclave, determined to create a proper community burial for his late grandfather, crosses enemy lines and makes friends among the Muslim majority in deeply divided, war-torn Kosovo.

Who will finish the academy, and who will quit? What relationship will survive, and what will fade away? Young cadets have a lot in their lives - ambitions, careers, problems and happy endings.

In order to recover the body of her son lost during the war in Bosnia, a grieving, but strong-willed Muslim woman, Halima, must track down her estranged niece, who we find carries a mysterious connection to him.

The story follows an encounter of the childhood friends that have not seen each other for more that twenty years. Their reunion, in the cold and windy night, will open a series of moral dilemmas and uncover deep buried traumas of the past.

A group of relatively young (30-35 years), college-educated, smart, urban people, whose youth was destroyed in the events during the breakup of Yugoslavia, in a late search for their identity.

One day in the lives of the Belgrade tower’s tenants, whose destiny is never going to be same from then on.

The plot of this film can be viewed from a two different levels. The first is universal and deals with the psychological theme of need for competition in the group, highlighting the need for the victory, which in life usually does not depend on the true virtues of the winner, so the result is usually tragicomic. The story talks about the choice of the most noble work. Selected participants arrive at the guesthouse on the border between Croatia and Serbia to prepare for the final act of the competition and the jury's decision. Seven competitors have a rather narrow view of the world. Even when the big events, such as ethnic conflicts in this part of the Balkans, the contestants insist to proceed the competition and to choose the hero of heroes, even though the very idea of competition has become anachronistic under the pressure of current events (the anger of the local Serbian population of the newly established Croatian authorities).

In the year 2000, few workers spend their days on a mining site in silent desperation, planing a strike and lamenting over their lives and bleak future. A shop-girl who's husband just left her is also in the center of attention.
