What led a former top scientist to rob a bank and hold a dozen hostages? Czech Television's crime thriller based on Martin Goffa's novel "The Little Girl" is squeezed into two environments - the interior of a robbed bank with hostages and the interior of a crisis management car, from where the police communicate with the mysterious attacker and try, like him, to play for time and find out more about him. The flashbacks also tell the story of the attacker's daughter Karin from the recent past, gradually revealing a connection with what is happening in the current storyline.

Ninth-grader Nikola, along with her younger sister Aneta and their father, are moving to a new city. This means changing schools and finding new friends. Nikola is starting ninth grade in an unfamiliar environment where she has to earn her place. However, it is not easy for her, because the girls are led by Majda, who resents the fact that the class idol Šimon has begun to discreetly eye the new student.

Young geek city boy Martin has to overcome himself and stay two weeks in the summer camp without his comforts and any technology. Here he will be challenged to help the forest creatures to save their forest from being destroyed by greedy developers.

Fourteen-year-old Pavel, alias Pako, falls into an underground tunnel during an expedition near Lukov Castle, injures his spine, and is confined to a wheelchair. After several months of rehabilitation, he and his mother Věra find it difficult to accept that he will never walk again. Local castle warden Jaromír also has his own problems to deal with in Lukov, as he struggles with grief over the death of his beloved wife. Lukov mayor Karel Zlejšek and his wife Naďa refuse to admit that their relationship is not developing as they had imagined and that this is affecting their son Petr's behavior. Adam and Eva's marriage is also going through a crisis, but so far they have managed to hide it from their children Aničkou and Tadeáš, or Nyny and Dydyn. Tokár arrives in the village with his daughters Dragica and Štěpánka – Šmudla – and tries to fit into everyday life in Lukov.

Josef and Miluška have been married for what seems like forever. Miluška teaches areobic and cares for her husband and teenage daughter tirelessly. Josef loves his wife, but has a weakness for younger more beautiful women. Their marriage, along with Josef's bankrupt publishing company, is slowly crumbling until aunt Marta - an experienced marital counsellor - comes to the rescue. She has a bold plan to fix not only their marriage, but also Josef’s publishing company. The prescription? Infidelity! They must catch each other out in flagranti.

The story is about a plumber, who is called Good man from the bones. He is not afraid of any work, he manages all the work he gets. Wittily responds to every situation that befalls him.

This romantic comedy, shot in a road-movie style, tells the story of businessman Petr Kraus and his personal transformation. After returning from China, where he supervised the production of clothing for his customers, Petr finds out that the manufacturer had ruined the whole order and so he gets into trouble with the contractor who wants some astronomical compensation for the damage. Peter knows that he should solve the problem quickly, but instead he decides to go on a trip seeking his personal happiness and an escape from responsibility. Fortunately, his close friends, Tereza and Pavel are there to help...
