"Red Lips" are two female detectives trying to find missing models and dancers. A pop artist called Klaus Thriller and his werewolf-like assistant, Morpho, are the main suspects for the murderers.

In the late 1800's, Sicilians Franco and Ciccio are serving 20 years of prison for stealing two mules, when they are helped to escape by an American who says he is a friend of their grandfathers, who were killed in Texas by a gang of bandits who wanted to take over their gold mine. The two friends travel to America to take posses of the gold mine, but they soon discover that they are not the only ones who want it.

Lucia is a mature woman who maintains a relationship with the young John. When he is found murdered in a bullring with a nail stuck in his chest, Lucia is the prime suspect, it is believed that the motive for the crime was jealousy because it felt for her daughter Marta, which had also been seduced by John.

An organ grinder called “El Rubio” has the crank of his street organ confiscated because he did not have his identification papers in order. From then on, a journey full of misfortune begins in which he tries hard to find a crank like the impounded one, to allow him to work again.
