This Romeo and Juliet–esque vengeance tale is set deep in the forests of Kerala, where the river is witness to a violent, generations-old feud.

An unusual bond grows between 60-year-old Dalit worker Azhagan and eight-year-old middle class girl Radha. However, Azhagan's proximity to Radha and her mother doesn't go down well with Radha's father.

An unexplained break up from a five-year-old relationship over a night deeply disturbs the protagonist. To overcome this, he decides to document the night with hidden cameras; an act which has roots in his long but unfulfilled dream to become a film maker. Devadevan, Arjun, and Basil do the roles of the three friends.
