Orestis Laskos (Greek: Ορέστης Λάσκος; 11 November 1907 – 17 October 1992) was a Greek film director, screenwriter and actor. He directed 55 films between 1931 and 1971. He also wrote scripts for 24 films between 1929 and 1971.

In this documentary of the series *Paraskinio*, produced in 1979, we watch an interview with poet, screenwriter, and director Orestis Laskos by journalist Soula Alexandropoulou. Laskos talks about his career and recounts moments from it, as well as anecdotes from the productions and filming of the movies he has written and directed.
A wealthy man, Tonis , in love with a poor girl, wants to marry her despite the objections of his father. The brother of the girl falls in love with Tonis' sister and the two couples will finally be able to get away with the tough father.
Marios and Louiza broke up because of the war. Marios goes to the front to fight, and Louiza agrees, under pressure from her father, to marry a wealthy man named Alkis, as she believes that Marios has died. When Marios comes back from the front, he wants Louiza back, and he meets with his friend Alkis, who asks him not to contend for the woman he loves. Louiza gets very upset by the new turn of events and loses her memory.
