Chased by mafia boss Kreda over a mistaken €2 million debt, club president Ryszard Ochódzki follows consigliere Maria Wafel’s advice to sell land to Father Pudło, only to hatch an even bigger bank fraud with banker Koziczek to raise the cash. Flush with stolen funds and briefly enjoying political office, he hides the money in the Molibdenów home, but just as he and coach Jarząbek plan to retrieve it, contract killer Dukan closes in.

The main character is Piotrowski, who seems to be a loser in life. One day, he decides to change his life and make his dreams come true by starting a hairdressing salon. He is not very skilled in this profession, so most people are afraid to use its services.

Adam Miauczynski, the character known from director Marek Koterski's previous films, is a 44 year-old teacher, who reads poetry during school lessons and later goes home swearing and calling his neighbours' names. The worst pain for him is the next 5 minutes of living. He doesn't accept himself and even everyday contacts with others cause his aggression. Though constantly dreaming of a romantic love, he is not bold enough to make his dreams come true. The desperate Miauczynski personalizes our own fears and obsessions, which have become so visible recently.

An adaptation of the book by Jerzy Niemczuk. The protagonists are strange but friendly creatures inhabiting the heart of the forest - Tatun, Mamuna, their child Sonek and grandfather Lesavik. Feuerreiter is an elegant period drama that begins in Frankfurt in 1796. He is soon torn between his passion for poetry and his love for Susette, the lady of the house. To top it all off, Baron von Sinclair is in love with him. Hölderlin's most beautiful poems are written during this trying time. However, he becomes a total recluse when he loses Susette. The film examines the effects of conflicting demands, both emotional and sensual, that may inspire art. Feuerreiter was screened as part of the New German Films at the 49th International Berlin Film Festival, 1999.
