The week after the French elections, the President must appoint his prime minister. In exchange for a higher position, ambitious young parliamentary attaché Nino is charged with persuading his longestranged father, a reclusive senator, to accept the post. But Lionel Perrin isn’t the only candidate for the coveted position, and in the race for power absolutely nothing is off-limits… Nino embarks on a high stakes adventure risking everything, his love life and political ambitions alike.

Elisabeth, an actress, leads writing workshops at Necker Hospital with teenagers experiencing severe psychological distress. Through her interactions with them, she revisits her own story: her institutionalization at age 14. Little by little, the memories resurface. Simon lives with his aging father Joseph in the south of France. When a massive wildfire devastates their tree-covered coastal region and as the warning siren reaches their home, the two must leave everything behind to escape. But the wind intensifies and the air fills with smoke as they get caught in a massive traffic jam with other evacuees while the fire is getting closer and closer. With ash soon falling like snow, the temperature rising and a menacing fire approaching, Simon must quickly find a way out to save himself and his weakened father.

August 1914. While the German army is gaining ground in the North of France, four boys aged 10 to 15, LUcien, LUcas, LUigi and LUdwig are left behind during the evacuation of their orphanage. Without the protection of Abbé Turpin and the schoolteacher Leutellier, the Lulus are now stranded on their own behind the enemy front line. Soon joined by LUce, a pretty young girl separated from her parents, they decide to reach the neutral country of Switzerland by all means possible... they embark on an adventure for which nothing and no one has prepared them!
