Al Debbo

Two brothers take part in a cross country competition and somehow end up foiling criminal activities in the mean time.

Cutter Murdock inherits an estate in Africa on which "Satan's Harvest" (heroin and marijuana) is grown. The thugs growing the drugs want him out of the way, so things get messy.

A detective agency gives a complex smuggling case to the seemingly absent-minded PI Boetie Flenters - never thinking he will solve it. Monica Terblanche (alias Hester Smith) is blackmailed to smuggle diamonds by Da Silva (aka Hennie Gous) and his accomplice. In return, she will receive the negative of an incriminating photo of her father. The investigation takes Boetie to the village of Geenfontein. When he bungles things he is fired and takes jobs as a bus conductor, hospital porter, lifeguard, lounge singer and plumber. Then he meets Hester, who explains her predicament, and they decide to work together.

Diamond detective Sergeant Louw is given the difficult task of pursuing Reg Regallo a nightclub owner and diamond smuggler.

Forbidden love is haunting Onderplaas. Elize, the daughter of the bywoner (tenant farmer), has fallen in love with Francois, the son of the wealthy estate owner. They elope and marry but are forced by his parents to divorce.

Private investigator Boerboel de Wet begins to imagine things when he reads a book about another private detective whose life is a reflection of his own? Or is it the other way around? In real life, Boerboel suddenly comes into money when he saves the life of an antiquities expert. In celebration, Boerboel opens a new office. One of his first clients is Marie.
