Two elderly musicians in search of a sweetheart from their younger days cross paths with an up-and-coming young singer. Together, they embark on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Vele can’t afford to buy the expensive medications for his father who has cancer. Desperate, he steals marijuana from some criminals, makes a cake with it and gives it to his father, hoping it will reduce his pain. His father’s health miraculously improves, but Vele is suddenly confronted by neighbors who demand the recipe for the “remedial” cake and by the criminals who want their drugs back.

Named symbolically after an ornamental flowering tree, Magnolia follows a middle-aged literature professor over the course of a late summer afternoon. Torn between the past and a present in which she has not yet found a place for herself, she has been leading a stagnant life overburdened with everyday work. He gave a promise to Alexandra's dying mother, that he will look after her and Gordi; he delivers the promised to his own, bloody way.

The film is a harsh and romantic story in which the eternal Macedonian cause for own identity and independence is seen through the prism of relativity of the ideas of freedom, justice, love, sacrifice, and treason.

This is a story about people which ideals were betrayed because of the bargaining of the big nations. At the end those people lost everything, including their homeland.

A documentary film dedicated to the Macedonian holiday "Ilinden". A special look at the traditional cavalry march organized on the occasion of the celebration of "Mechkin Kamen". The ceremonies at the start of the march, the places where the cavalry moves and statements by the participants for whom this holiday is synonymous with defiance, feat and dignity of the Macedonian struggle for independence and statehood.
