Ludvík tries in vain to ward off the daily grind and the onset of midlife crisis with adolescent infatuation for an unknown beauty. Stationmaster Miloš, a lonely trumpet player nearing fifty, watches life pass him by as he mourns alone at a funeral and pines secretly for Tereza, the charming nurse who boards his afternoon train. Desperate for courage, his bandmates enter him into a televised Christmas talent show, “Vánoční hvězda”, and, in the glow of the stage lights, Miloš finally finds love.

"A man is immortal as long as he lives in the memory of others,” said well-known Czech writer Arnošt Lustig with a wry smile. In December 2006 when her father turned 80, filmmaker Eva Lustigová began to see just how closely his words applied to himself personally. Her method involved recording their meetings and personal interviews together, until Lustig’s death in February 2011. Employing his notorious sense of humor, the film presents the world-renowned author as he recalls a carefree childhood cut short by the Nazi occupation, the horror of life in a concentration camp, the beginnings of his writing career, living in Israel and the USA, and his lifelong friendship with Ota Pavel. Geneva-based Eva Lustigová’s documentary is not a traditional portrait compilation of a famous writer that chronologically investigates his life, but rather a loosely assembled, lively movie about a person with an eternal love for life as it is.

Former classmates meet after sixty years at a school reunion, undoubtedly their last, face to face with their classmate Miluška Bínová. Bínová, once the most popular classmate, returns to her hometown after many years, determined to find out which of her classmates ruined her life back then.

A motley of vacationers on a bus headed for a week long vacation at a seaside resort. Among them: a single, moderately famous singer; a nerdy, onanistic man; a couple of old ladies reaching senility; a couple of young gals looking for an amorous adventure; a family with a boy unsure about where he fits sexually; a beautiful woman that, besides working as a trip guide, has pretensions of being a music composer; a couple of gay men; and another family where the parents are stuck in a sexual ice age while their twentyish daughter is looking to connect with a man.

Three sixteen year-old friends on a summer holiday are trying to lose their virginity. Finally they succeed with a help of a local girl Lenka (Vankova).
