Story of a young couple who suffered the tragic events of Argentina in the late seventies. He, because of the pregnancy of his girlfriend, decides to leave political activism, not knowing that the military are looking for him. After being arrested and taken to a clandestine detention center will be savagely tortured. His daughter Natalia will be raised by a military bourgeois family. But, eventually, the girl decides to investigate the truth about his origins and his true identity.

Argentine dictatorship, 1978. About to have a child, Ernesto moves in with his girlfriend Paloma. What he doesn't know is that the military is looking for them. When they are arrested, they are taken to a clandestine prison. Once there, Paloma dies in childbirth, and Ernesto is tortured to death. In 2010, Alejandro, Ernesto's priest brother, thinks he recognizes the couple's daughter, Natalia. After contacting his niece, she must decide whether to accept his true identity or the one imposed on her for 30 years.

While his investigating some violations, a commissioner of the Province of Buenos Aires looks for the meaning of the task that he carries out.
