Two childhood friends reconnect in their twenties: one was once the irresistible beauty of the schoolyard; the other was the shy, kind shadow. Johannes, a moderately successful musician, receives a visit from his daughter Clara, who lives with her mother in the Netherlands. What begins euphorically becomes a journey of discovery, where music plays the leading role.

Broken by unre­quited love, Kasimir begins to deviate from Liebermann‘s dogma: never intervene in what happens in front of the camera. An unforgivable breach of trust for Liebermann and so he de­cides to determine Kasimir’s fate.
