Maja has made a promise to her deceased sister: she will take care of her 15-year-old nephew Mathias, who has fallen into bad company and been kidnapped. Now the kidnappers are threatening to kill Mathias, and the problem is that Maja is sitting in a car far away. As the situation escalates, she must overcome her inner fears in an attempt to save Mathias.

A story about the beautiful but confused young woman Helene, who, according to her mother, was born as a 'technical error'. Assisted by a series of bizarre coincidences and by her mother's dog (a creature in whose shadow Helene has always lived), Helene manages to get closer to her father.
