Omnibus film that was created through an industry-academia collaboration project in which students from the Film Department of Osaka University of Arts teamed up with professionals in the film industry. It consists of three episodes, two directed by Kazuyoshi Kumakiri and one by Satoshi Kaneda.

Nobumasa Tsuboi (Yo Oizumi) runs a small factory in a small town. He has a daughter Yoshimi Tsuboi (Riko Fukumoto) who suffers from a congenital heart disease. A doctor tells Nobumasa Tsuboi that his daughter will only live for about 10 more years. Nobumasa Tsuboi is devastated that his daughter won't live past the ago of 20. Nobumasa Tsuboi and his wife Yoko Tsuboi (Miho Kanno) cannot accept the diagnosis. Even though he has no medical knowledge or experience, Nobumasa Tsuboi begins to study about artificial hearts.

Physicist Manabu Yukawa returns to Japan from America. Detective Kaoru Utsumi visits him and talks about a case. The case is about a popular girl in a town who disappeared and, several years later, her body was found. A suspect was arrested for her murder. That suspect was previously arrested for another girl's murder, but he was released due to a lack of evidence. Detective Shunpei Kusanagi investigated the prior murder case. The same suspect was then released due to a lack of evidence for the most recent murder case. The released man returned to his town, where everybody hated him. On the day of the autumn festival parade, the man was killed. Physicist Manabu Yukawa, Detective Kaoru Utsumi and Detective Shunpei Kusanagi work together on his case.

The artisanal techniques that Japan has cultivated over its long history are disappearing day by day, along with the lights of the lives of these artisans. Hiroshima is a city where sake brewing is thriving. Senzaburo Miura, the "father of ginjo-shu" who made Japan's first ginjo-shu (sake made from rice at a polishing ratio below 60%), is the pride of Hiroshima. Senzaburo's spirit of "try one hundred times, improve one thousand times" overlaps with that of the Japanese people who survived through the prewar and postwar periods. Now, the spirit of Japanese master craftsmanship is shared with the world from Japan.

Ryoichi Yoshimori is a university student. His girlfriend, Kyoko Sawada is a few years older but the pair don’t care as they are deeply in love. After Ryoichi proposes to Kyoko, she suddenly disappears. Several days later, Kyoko re-emerges but claims to have no memory of him. With the help of a classmate/lawyer Chiaki Takaharu and his childhood friend Maki Kawai, Ryoichi attempts to unravel the mystery that may be related to the rumours of a memory erasing individual known as Kiokuya.
