The chief security officer at a top-secret medical facility finds himself caught in an explosive battle when a young thief and his accomplices steal a groundbreaking curative medicine. After discovering the true origins of the medicine, the officer must decide who he can trust to protect the cure from falling into the wrong hands, and prevent an all-out war from bringing the city to its knees.

This story is about “Chan Dai Lek” (main character) who lost his parents when he was small and then being brought up and been taught in Kung Fu by the Beggar legend “Cheong Dai Hap” to help those who are poor and weak. As Dai Lek grows up, he made some beggar friends who are in difficulties, namely “Da Zhi” and “Satay” , also the daughter of the head gangster “Guo Fei” and they have built a very good rapport. Together, they have living the same point of view in life that “Nothing is impossible”. On the other hand, there is a beggar group from “Lan Jie Bang” which discovered the great abilities of Dai Lek and decided to make him to become the leader of the group. In the end, because of the brutal power of the black society which constantly controlling, exploiting and mistreating the beggars, Dai Lek is then unleashed his heroism and make a stand for the sake of his love and his friends which then leads to triumph. Hence, he is the beggar hero.

After his business goes bust, Ng Shun and his family move back to his old apartment to stay with his father. He has not returned for 10 years because the apartment is too small for his family. To make his situation worse, Laughing falls in love with the triad leader’s sister, Karen. Justice, brotherhood and love, what will Laughing decide on? His decision will be a turning point in his life.
