Elya, who lives in Izmir, dreams of getting a master's degree in gastronomy and working in a corporate environment against her mother's pressure to get married and guarantee life. Determined to wed his girlfriend, an earnest boyfriend goes off the beaten path to seek the blessing of her father, who has been missing for years.

The story begins in a mental hospital and continues with Tahsin and Rıfat lying to the doctor that they are well and leaving the hospital. As soon as they leave the hospital, the two go to Rıfat's mother's house to surprise her. However, when they arrive home, they learn that the neighborhood is undergoing urban renewal and that, like everyone else, their mother has sold her house.

Kirpi, the vengeful practical joker finally finds a match for his habit: Tahir Yaman. Prank and revenge loop of the duo will drag them to very complicated situations.

The film depicts a world in which Atatürk never became leader, the War of Independence never took place, and the Ottoman Republic continues to exist in a form adapted to the present day. The continuation of the Ottoman Republic instead of the Republic of Turkey, Ankara not being the capital, signs and license plates being in both Turkish and Arabic, and the sultan wearing a suit under his caftan are some of the tragicomic situations that make up the film's story.

Hulya is a young Turkish woman torn between two cultures. Forced to live with her uncle in Turkey, she leaves this house: she wants to return to Germany where she lived with her father and went to school, not so long ago.
