Nine friends and their families are getting ready for a weekend trip to the countryside. They have tents, meat for barbecuing, and good spirits. They are all bound by a long-standing friendship that arose under special circumstances, which fortunately cannot be repeated today. That friendship has truly stood the test of time. Our heroes are around eighty years old. But the story is not just about good times and friendly banter. Nor is it about the thrilling rescue of an inquisitive boy who is stuck on a rock. There is a detective mystery lurking in it that needs to be solved on the spot. In the end, the culprit reveals himself, but we see that judgment should be made cautiously and with knowledge of all the circumstances.

The heroine of the story Struck by Lightning is a divorced teacher with grown-up children. She has been living alone for a long time, finding solace at her brother's grave in the cemetery. Years ago, he was killed by lightning somewhere in the mountains, at a mountain hut. And it is here, in the intimacy of the family grave, that Jana is approached by an unknown young man. He offers her companionship and help. Jana is afraid of him at first, but when he shows her a winding scar under his shirt, which proves beyond doubt that he, like her brother, was struck by lightning but survived, Jana believes him...

The story tells of a statue in Pribino Square in Nitra, to which the inhabitants and ancient legend attribute the qualities of the brave blacksmith Juraj Corgoň. Driven by his love for his girl and his hometown, Juraj, with his courage, strength and bravery, helped to avert one of the dangerous Turkish raids on Nitra in the 17th century.

The ruler of the springs becomes angry and deprives Zoran's kingdom of water as punishment. After the birth of her daughter Rosenka, Rainbow decides to sacrifice herself to save the kingdom and returns to the sky. Zoran and his daughter yearn in vain for years to meet Dúhenka. Rosenka grows up, she is fit for marriage, but she has one condition for the suitors: they must obtain rainbow water. But only Pramko can do that. And so the Ruler of the Springs must once again struggle with human emotions, and Rosenka and Pramko face many obstacles before they can convince him of the power of human love.
