In 2014, THE SEDUCERS surprised friend and foe with an unprecedentedly sharp attack on the monetary system and the banks. Since then, everyone has been convinced: Less power for the commercial banks! A stone had been thrown into the pond… 10 years later, NOTHING has changed. It's gotten much worse. But what turns out: We are on the cusp of a huge change. The Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is currently being developed. With this new monetary system, power will shift from private banks to the central bank. Finally, good news! Koen is a fatherless, eighteen year old boy who wants to free himself from the suffocating relationship with his mother. He struggels with the balance between independency and love. When he meets Colet, he tries to keep his distance, but she is both anarchistic and audacious. She does not understand the fact that Koen does not have the slightest curiosity about his unknown father. It is because of her that he begins the search for his father.

Koekebakker is a successful journalist. His old mates, however, turned out failures: Bekker has lost all hope of changing the world, Hoyer works for the socialist party, Bavink suffers from mental problems and Kees is a simple laborer.
