Sassy and ambitious waitress Mary Evans amuses and befriends amiable seldom-sober Hollywood film director Max Carey when he stumbles into her restaurant. Night Watch is a 1928 American drama film directed by Alexander Korda and starring Billie Dove, Paul Lukas, and Donald Reed.
