Marina, a poor, hard-working girl, works as an accountant at a fashion house to support not only herself but also her mother and her lazy brother, Sotiris, who hopes to solve all his problems with the lottery. When he refuses to work in Iakovos Dimitriou's sock factory, Marina dresses up as a man and takes his place. Her hard work impresses her boss, the womanizer Petros Sofianos, Dimitriou's partner and fiancé to his eldest daughter, Daizy, winning his trust. At the same time, she also wins the sympathy of Dimitriou's youngest daughter, the silly Olga, who wants to get married at any cost.
