A cinematographic adaptation of the performance "Puur", from Ultima Vez/Wim Vandekeybus.

Contains great live performances and rare off-stage footage to give a real sense of what Sixteen Horsepower stood for as a live band. The beautiful registration by the RTBF of the 2002 concert at 'Le Cirque Royal' - Belgium on disc 1. On disc 2 a compilation of different documents: the 1996 Rockpalast show in Germany, a rehearsal in David's hometown Denver, an impression of the last US-tour in 2004, ...and finally a unique souvenir of what would turn out to be their last concert ever, July 17th 2004, Antwerp, Belgium.

The DVDs contain all of their videos, a few songs performed live (including a cover of Joy Division's 'Heart And Soul'), a handful of interviews & mini-documentaries, and songs mixed into surround sound (including another Joy Division song, '24 Hours'). These DVDs cover 16 Horsepower's career from 1993-2004.

A stunningly-photographed, thought-provoking road trip into the heart of the poor white American South. Singer Jim White takes his 1970 Chevy Impala through a gritty terrain of churches, prisons, truckstops, biker bars and coalmines. Along the way are roadside encounters with present-day musical mavericks the Handsome Family, David Johansen, David Eugene Edwards of 16 Horsepower and old-time banjo player Lee Sexton, and grisly stories from the cult Southern novelist Harry Crews.

A documentary about the frontman for 16 Horsepower and Wovenhand, David Eugene Edwards.
