Ali and his father go from their poor neighborhood in the outskirts of the city to a hospital so that Ali's father can be treated for his sickness. However since they have no money, Ali starts to work for Dr. Sameri who deals in blood.

Famous singer (Foruzan) is ignorant of his attention to his only son Ali (Shahram Samini Pour) due to his concerns. Karim (Morteza Aghili), the driver of the singer, is the only one who takes note of the mother's absence and causes him to travel and entertain. Bahram (Bahram Vatanparast), the director of the programs of the reader, fills him all the time and raises hatred of Ali and Karim.

Setareh (Forozan) is the singer of a cheerleading group. Mahmoud (Abdullah Butimar), who has become Setareh's admirer, provides her and her friends with a luxurious house and invites them to perform at a large nightclub. A young student named Masoud (Taqi Mokhtar) expresses his interest in Setareh, despite her parents' opposition. Setareh, who is suffering from cancer, refuses to attend the nightclub at Masoud's request, until Masoud's father calls Setareh and asks her to cut off contact with him for the sake of Masoud and his fiancée, and Setareh agrees. Setareh's condition worsens and her friends struggle to pay for her treatment. Masoud learns of his father's meeting with Setareh on his wedding day and goes to apologize. Setareh dies in Masoud's arms.

Abbas, known as "Abbas Chakhan," is a driver’s apprentice who is alone and has a stutter, constantly weaving tall tales. One night, he accidentally meets Banafsheh, who has ended up in a notorious neighborhood in search of her dreams, yet she is still determined to free herself from that place and have a home of her own. Abbas promises Banafsheh that he will help her. After she learns that Abbas has been imprisoned due to a small debt, she borrows money from a loan shark named Mohammad, known as "Mohammad the Dagger," to free Abbas.
