Hilarious revelations from the love life of a Parisian woman.

1838: Fritz Jüterbog and Ottilie von Henkeshofen love each other, but the difference in status is too great for Ottilie's parents to give their consent to a marriage. And so, Fritz sets off for America and returns from there 20 years later as a made man to ask for Ottilie's hand in marriage again. In the meantime, however, Ottilie - believing that Fritz had long since forgotten her - is married in a manner befitting her status, but very unhappily. Fritz, who is highly successful as an entrepreneur, is elevated to hereditary nobility because of his great services to the fatherland. It is too late for a union with Ottilie, but despite the years that pass, the two cannot forget their love. 75 years later, Fritz and Ottilie have died in the meantime, their grandchildren Fred and Tilla meet and fall in love.

A reporter is murdered while driving to his job. The Police are contacted by a clairvoyant who saw the death in a vision, but some dark force is preventing him from seeing the man behind the crime...

In 1939 German U-boat captain Günther Prien receives orders to infiltrate the British Royal Navy base at Scapa Flow and sink British warships.

The composer Carl Maria von Weber is on his way to Prague with his bride Caroline Brandt when their carriage is attacked by bandits. Fortunately, Count Enzio von Schwarzenbrunn rushes to their aid and puts the villains to flight. However, the noble host who invites them to his castle is nowhere near as noble as he suspects, having staged the robbery himself in order to bring the enchanting Caroline to his aristocratic residence in this clever way and get to know her better in this luxurious setting.

A close film adaptation of Johann Strauss' "Fledermaus". Notary Falke uses Prince Orlofsky's ball, at which the distinguished gentlemen of Viennese society enjoy themselves with the opera's ballet girls, to take revenge on Dr. Eisenstein, who once embarrassed him after a drinking bout. Falke also invites Eisenstein's wife Rosalinde. During the lavish party, Eisenstein courts his own wife, who is disguised as a Hungarian countess. In the morning, he hurries to prison to serve a short sentence. His indignation is great when a Dr. Eisenstein is already sitting there. He had been taken from his wife's arms the night before. He makes a scene for Rosalinde, but she convicts him of infidelity with the Hungarian countess.

To fight this scourge, King Louis XIV decides to create a special court named "La chambre ardente", designed to find and punish the perpetrators of such heinous crimes. An unexpected person, Mademoiselle de Scudéry, the famous poetess, will find herself entangled in the web of a criminal intrigue linked with the jewel murders, along with a a goldsmith, his daughter and her fiancé...
