Nanda (Shivarajkumar) owns a canteen in the college and given his age and maturity, he is referred to as senior by all the students and they take his advise on various issues. In all this, there is one girl who goes by the name of Kavya (Sandhya) who is in love with him since Nanda helps in getting her sister married.Nanda falls in love with Kavya but as fate would have it, he tends to fall on the wrong books of Kavya

Yashwanth (Murali) an unemployed youth loses 50,000 bucks kept for his mother's operation when his folks are away from home. The whole story revolves around the consequences of how Yashwanth earns the money back before his parents return. During the course, he meets the heroine (Rakshita) who flees her home to avoid a forced marriage.

Dyan's relationship ends when his girlfriend, Monalisa, dies in an accident. In order to fulfil his parent's wishes, he marries Spandana, who turns out to be an exact lookalike of Monalisa.

Nagabharana, who is deemed to be one of the ace directors in Kannada film industry. Music was scored by C. Aswath and Srihari L. Khoday produced the movie. The film touches one of the most sensitive issues of marital life. In folk style and form, the film throws open a question as to who is the husband – the person who marries an innocent girl and indulges in self pleasures or the person who gives the real and complete experience of life. G.S.Bhaskar, and his work is a visual thunder in this movie. Especially the night scenes & interior scenes are spellbounded. Bhaskar is a famous technician; he used contrast lighting in this movie, that clearly gave the touch of folk life in every frame.

The movie portrays Sai Baba as a child abandoned by his Hindu parents and raised by a Muslim couple, who later returns to Shirdi, preaches communal harmony, and performs miracles. The film also depicts the transition from Shirdi Sai Baba to Sathya Sai Baba, considered his reincarnation.
