A social commentary based thriller about the eventful year of London 2011, told through the eyes of HERO, the main character. With a 2012 Olympic style feel to the film, as well as some of the recent urban issues re-enactment, it is set to be a very current and topical short.

Drink, Drugs and KFC written and directed by Aml Ameen (KIDULTHOOD, Harry's Law), is a coming of age romantic comedy, which can be likened to "Super Bad" or "American Pie". Geeky Teenager NATHAN (Kedar Williams-Stirling), finds himself in love with Montana, the most sort after girl in college, it's his last night to proclaim his feelings, but standing in the way is her ex boyfriend MAX (Mikel Ameen) and the crew he's trying to gain acceptance from.

A collection of tower blocks and concrete expanse, it has its own rules and codes, its own distinctive languages and culture, both old and new. It is a tightly knit community that is on call to protect those within its boundaries. It is an intense, turbulent, passionate world, rarely depicted other than when the antagonisms and struggles of its young lives spill out onto the surrounding streets and into the news. West 10 LDN invites us into this territory, and delves into the big stories of the lives of the young, multi ethnic generation who live there - with a blast of energy and power, with dynamism, wit and blistering vibrancy.
