Friends Petr and Michal, who have known each other since high school, live completely different lives: one has already settled down, has a well-paid job and a family, the other is a loner with unfulfilled artistic ambitions. But they are still united by their passion: graffiti.

Tomáš and Věrka are a young couple expecting their first child and are working hard to finish building a small family house in a village just outside Prague. The expectant father takes on more and more work in an effort to survive the difficult test of life, the young mother is disgusted with herself due to the dramatic changes in her prenatal moods, and there is Tomáš's father, who is not afraid to tell the young people, and especially Věrka, straight out what he thinks of their actions. Can you manage pregnancy and not go crazy about it? Especially when there is a calculating doula who Věrka listens to much more than her husband? A comedy about the fact that pregnancy is not an illness, but it can really take its toll on everyone!

Under Czech law, most murders can be statute-barred in as little as 20 years. Radio presenter Eva gets involved in one case that is time-barred almost irretrievably. On her nightly show, she gives space to the mysterious Radek, who has returned to Prague after exactly twenty years.

She was once the wife of an important man, lived in a beautiful house in Hradčany, and was friends with the famous race car driver Eliška Junková. Today, however, she lives somewhere on the outskirts of Prague in a ground-floor apartment overlooking the courtyard and the street, alone and abandoned by practically everyone. She occasionally cooks and bakes for Father Jan, and with her characteristic willingness, she also does his laundry and ironing. However, one of the last certainties in her life collapses unexpectedly quickly—Father Jan is transferred somewhere to Hradec Králové and is replaced by a young priest who is used to doing everything himself. At that moment, a smiling young man with dark glasses and a flower in his hand enters Květa Galová's life.
