Jagdish leads an ordinary life with his wife, Savitri, but, one day, a man is murdered before his eyes and he fails to save him. He then takes up the identity of Alfred, a vigilante, to fight crime.

A car mechanic falls in love with a girl but discovers her father has a large debt, leading him to gamble and marry another to pay off the debt.

The story is about a house consisting of three families who live in it. It is three stories linked by the house.
