Süleyman Saim Tekcan, (born 1940, Trabzon) Turkish painter, film actor, sculptor, print, graphic, engraving artist and lecturer. The most famous of these films, Metin Erksan's screenplay and directed by Sevmek Zamanı, went down in cinema history with his role as the evil lover Başar.

On the Princes’ Islands to the south of Istanbul, the days are rainy and full of longing. Poor but proud painter Halil gets a job in one of the island’s villas, where he encounters the photograph of a beautiful woman and falls in love with her image.
Metin, the son of factory owner Keramet Bey, attends a private college. Since his father is one of the founders of the college, he behaves as he pleases. The school principal tries to discipline Metin and his friends, but he can't seem to succeed. As a result, the teachers quickly quit their jobs. The new teacher, Hülya, also argues with Metin on her first day. This incident will bring Metin and Hülya closer together.
