Marie-Luce Bison, 14 years old, is raised by her father in a cheerful boarding house for seniors where he is the director. It is soon the costume party of her new college: her father does not want her to go ... and anyway, she is not invited. But pushed by Albert, her 80-year-old best friend, Marie-Luce crashes the party, dressed as a man. That evening, everyone takes her for a boy... a boy who is looked at and who pleases. She then decides to invent a male double named Leo to finally live her teenage life. Of course, at home, the relationship with her father becomes complicated.

Les lendemains de veille tells the story of Vincent, Malo, Lola, Matéo, Blaise and Xavier. At the time they were young and had a dream, that of living together; free and autonomous. And this dream had a name: "The community of the days before." However, their group ended up doing like everyone else and they gradually lost sight of each other. They hadn't made a date in the future, but the death of one of their own decided otherwise.

In 1879, the Minister of Fine Arts Edmond Turquet commissioned Auguste Rodin to create a colossal sculpture for the future Musée des Arts Décoratifs. Referring to the bronze door executed in the 15th century by Lorenzo Ghiberti for the Baptistery of Florence, and considered by Michelangelo to be "the door to paradise", Rodin spent over three decades imagining every creature and every detail of La porte de l'enfer. The ten-panel work, inspired by Dante's The Divine Comedy, was never entirely finished. After the artist's death in 1917, several sculptures were extracted from the monumental matrix, including The Thinker and The Kiss.

At the end of the 19th century, an orphan comes to live with her aunt and uncle in Normandy. The girl is taken in not only out of philanthropy, but because she has a large inheritance that is held in trust. The child grows up and is attracted to her cousin, an underachieving airhead, whom she later helps out of financial difficulties as a young woman. After her aunt's death, she takes over the household and helps the family financially. The planned marriage to her cousin fails when a rival appears. This is the story of a selfless woman who, despite her disappointments and low lives, refuses to let them take the joy out of life.
