Young ostentatious intellectual, Stanisa (Stan), leaves his family and girlfriend due to their cognitive immaturity, as he sees it. He finds a new home in an abandoned house in the wilderness where other intellectuals such as him live.

Three friends, Jelena, Ana and Zorka meat three days before 20-year's high school reunion. Ana lives in a neighboring country, she's a biochemist and she has diagnosed (correctly) herself with breast cancer. Fuki their best male friend, never moved from their hometown, lives with his high-spirited grandmother, and occasionally gets involved with dubious people and business schemes. Each of the ladies used to be in love with Fuki at some point in their lives, but after all, they remained best friends. In three days, they all have a great challenge: to help Ana find the money for the operation. They will have to go through serious soul-searching, in order to find courage and strength to bring out the best and most noble in them. Breasts define all of them, not only as a metaphor.

The film follows Stefan, a student in Berlin. One weekend visit from his parents will change his life and disrupt his entire world.

‘Borders, Raindrops’ is a film about love, maturity, and hope, growing in a barren and abandoned landscape. The film is divided in two parts, with the protagonist, a young woman – Jagoda – connecting them as a ghostly presence, bringing hope and reconciliation within the two narratives. She is a student visiting family in the summer, living in the declining villages of former Yugoslavia, overlooking the Adriatic coast. In the first story she bonds with a cousin in his mid-thirties, who is building a house in the village, but has no one to marry and live with him. In the second, she helps a teenage cousin understand that his nation is no better than others, and that they all have to learn to live together on the recently established borders.

Đorđe is being summoned to Ada Bojana to meet his father for the first time. Nikola, his dad, is a jailbird and ex-thief. Although everyone thinks Đorđe's gay, he meets Lola and sparks fly. In the meantime, everyone from cops to crime bosses want diamonds from Nikola's last heist.

People from the city, working to prepare for a new road, come to one underdeveloped Montenegrin village where they encounter the locals.
