Thanasis, a family breadwinner who has been working for 17 years at the Ministry of Measure and Station without any promotion, is trying to cover his expenses by doing a second job. When he learns that he can not be promoted because he does not own a high school diploma, he decides to go back to school.

Philemon and Pausanias are two wretches, friends and roommates in the same chamber, which are constantly struggling to pay off their debts mainly rents, because the landlady is very grumpy. Their agarmposyni, however, does not help them to steriosoun in some work: either in a gas station or in antique or as waiters at a nightclub where she sings the amiable Michael, a poor student who lives in the same yard and is in love with Soula. But Uncle Soula, the Menios, wants to marry a rich kid, Tasos. She, however, also loves Michael manages to cajolery to obtain the consent of and become a successful singer in his side.

Prokopis and Nikos, two unemployed, bumbling friends, are looking for work through the employment agency run by their acquaintance, Patroklos. They get jobs as babysitters, but fail miserably. Immediately afterwards, Prokopis takes on the task of guarding a dead body, facing many problems, while Nikos gets a job at a souvlaki restaurant, where he is fired from the very first moment...

Alexis, a charming little man, has taken on the task of looking after his nephews Kostas and Tolis, who have their eyes set on two beautiful neighbors, Anna and Kaiti, the nieces of a strict captain. When Kostas' aunt, Loukia Lolochampero, telegraphs from Africa that she is coming to Greece, they decide to throw a party and invite the two cousins so they can meet in person. The aunt postpones her trip, but the party must go on. They convince Alexis to dress up as a woman and pretend to be their aunt.
