Autobiographical vanity showcase commissioned by Tabe Slioor, a self-made socialite and notorious symbol of loosening morals in early 1960s Finland. The film exploits the scandal she caused as the secret mistress of the mayor of Helsinki. Left unfinished because of her quarrels with the production company, the story relies heavily on her shamelessly narcissistic narration.

Nina, Erik, and Heikki are charged in court and receive prison sentences, with the girl receiving a suspended sentence. Erik's father Tauno returns home and finds Nina waiting for him. The girl recounts the events that led to the situation, which are presented in flashback.

While shopping in the village, Topi hears about the upcoming parliamentary elections. His wife Riikka decides to find out more and ends up at a meeting of the Social Democrats.
