This film revisits the career and development of Marie Trintignant through the loving and often amused eyes of her father Jean-Louis Trintignant, as well as those of the actors and directors with whom she worked.

With a heavy haul of 250 kilograms of gold bullion, the grizzled criminal mastermind, Rhino, and his ruthless gang of cutthroats, head to a ramshackle retreat somewhere in the Mediterranean to lay low on a scorching day of July. However, the unexpected and rather unwelcome arrival of the bohemian writer, Bernier, his muse, Luce, along with a pair of no-joke gendarmes further complicates things, as the frail allegiances will soon be put to the test.

Thomas, a sound engineer in his thirties, lives in a studio apartment with Wyatt, his alcoholic boss. Lost in his music, he lives with the painful memory of a romantic relationship and no longer does what he loves: creating sound portraits. Amina, a cheerful young Moroccan woman, enters his life, seemingly to escape her own. She quickly proves to be the perfect subject for a portrait... To find out who she really is, Thomas will have to take his microphone from the suburbs to Morocco and learn to listen again.

A couple runs over a cyclist with their car, but a hitchhiker appears before they can get rid of the lifeless body. They allow the hitchhiker to join them, not knowing what he saw. Doubts overtake them. Playing on the ambiguity of the situation, the hitchhiker will not let the couple come out of this intact.

An intense and solitary teenager, Paul finds himself caught up in a journey for freedom, full of violence, betrayal and hope. Abandoned by his father, torn between his mother, with whom he maintains a tender if tormented relationship, and his punk friends, with whom he hangs out at concerts, parties and street fights, he lives fully in the present. At a concert, Paul meets Louis and falls in love. But something is missing, and he continues searching for the father who never recognized him.
