A film about sexist violence, structured through several independent stories in which actors portray characters of the opposite sex. By using gender-swapped casting, the film explores how reversing traditional roles can shift our understanding of power dynamics and the conflicts that emerge from them.

A young woman goes to meet her mother, a renowned theater actress, after some time apart. The tension between them will bring up old grudges from the past. Neither of them knows that they need each other more than they want to admit.

A family that lives in a population of just over ten thousand inhabitants and about thirty minutes from Barcelona, sees its everyday life shaken by the political events that take place in Catalonia during the months of September and October 2017. A story of maturation and care. A story of a family that learns to break up and separate without hurting each other and without causing trauma. A family that learns to understand the thoughts and attitudes of others as everything gets more and more tense outside their home. A family that does everything possible to talk and understand each other, because, deep down, they love and respect each other. A family that will find a way to forgive and heal the wounds produced throughout this process.

Merche rents his only son's room to Günther, a german youngster. She'll start to see him as a possibility to refill some empty spaces in her life.

1927. Spain under the Primo de Rivera Dictatorship. The great actress, Margarita Xirgu and her company are about to perform "Maria Pineda" by a young Federico Garcia Lorca. The Dictatorship cannot tolerate it, but the actress, Margarita Xirgu, in the name of freedom will stand her ground.
