Horst Schlämmer is back—and he's fed up. People all over Germany are in a bad mood. So he leaves Grevenbroich and sets off in search of happiness. It must be somewhere!

Nurse Nora is looking forward to her first Christmas vacation in years and wants to spend it quietly and relaxed with her mother Ellen. She doesn't really mind that her brother Moritz, formerly Maike, isn't coming, as she has always felt inferior to him. But then not only Moritz turns up, Grandma Lore also changes her plans and, to make matters worse, they are joined by their widowed neighbor Rolf and his detestable son Bent, as well as their daughter Katja and grandson Fritz, due to a faulty heating system.

During the last therapy session for a couple seeking a divorce, the therapist dies in a freak accident. Now Tom and Nina have to get together one last time to get rid of the corpse.

The cabaret artist Marc-Uwe and the kangaroo are faced with a problem: Lisbeth, the mother of Maria has taken a wrong turn somewhere and is now denying the climate crisis on the Internet. How can she be brought to her senses? The two make a bet with each other: If they don't manage to bring Maria's mother to her senses, they will lose their apartment. So Marc-Uwe and the marsupial embark on a trip to the Conspiracy Convention in Bielefeld and shortly thereafter become part of a tangible conspiracy led by conspiracy guru Adam Krieger and his followers. As the two flatmates talk their heads off, it's no longer just about their apartment for Marc-Uwe and the kangaroo, it's more than that: it's a matter of life and death!

Stine Olson is reunited with his childhood friend Jan and his brother Paul. Both want to sell a property inherited from their father and hire Stine to organize the demolition of the house.

It was supposed to be a completely normal performance by Ogün. And even though Ogün and his manager Mozart only arrive at the venue at the last minute, it would probably have been one if it weren't for the wonderful surprise waiting for Ogün and Mozart - Steffi!
