Arif, who was sent to a mental hospital by his neighbors, escapes from there and returns to his native neighborhood. However, his neighbor Agharza has taken over his house. In this situation, Arif tries to resolve the issue in his own way, and the true faces of all the neighbors are eventually revealed.

After the country transitions to a market economy, the psychiatric hospital is left without funding. The chief doctor (Yaşar Nuri) releases the patients to their homes. However, the outside world turns out to be even more insane than the patients themselves. Seeing the state of society, the patients are forced to return to the hospital. Although this film portrays the lives of people with mental illnesses, it actually uses dark humor to highlight the ugliness and shortcomings in our society and everyday surroundings.

The film chronicles the ordeals faced by Azerbaijan’s intellectuals - from the Red Terror to the present day - depicting how, amid shifting social and political upheavals, they endure physical and moral persecution. It also explores human betrayal and the ways people adapt their identities to survive changing circumstances.

Two men from neighbouring villages – the Armenian Artavaz and the Azerbaijani Gadir – find themselves in the chaos of the conflict between their two countries. Brought together by a play of fate, they flee an incomprehensible war.

The events occur during the Nagorno-Karabakh War. Because of a corpse in a zinc coffin with an arguable address, two families get excited. Having cut the lid off the coffin to identify the soldier, they find out that he is, in fact, Armenian - former citizen of Baku.

Mustafa works as a guide in Shaki (the city in Azerbaijan) and decides traveling to Turkey for making a trade to get some money. When his spouse and him went there, unexpected processes started to happen.

The center of the psychological drama is the Crazy Samad. However, despite his name being Crazy Samad, he is more honest and intelligent than some people. Since the film is based on a combination of three stories, it tells the story of the misfortunes of three different families: Samad, who is tortured by his brother, Karbalai Eyvaz, who beats his wife because of her stubbornness, and Zuleykha, who is beaten by her husband because of her harsh language. We look at all these events through the eyes of Crazy Samad.

The film talks about countless crimes committed by the criminal group led by "Panjali Aslan" and eventually the destruction of this criminal group by law enforcement agencies.
