Marco, Tato, Serena, and Leo are nine years old, and they are inseparable friends, ready to defend each other from their schoolmates’ bullying. On the evening of Marco's birthday, all four find themselves together to blow out the candles and unknowingly make the same wish: become adults. In one night's time, they find themselves magically the same age as their parents, but with the same behaviour and thoughts they have as kids.

In this rom-com challenging the concept of soulmates, parallel storylines portray four single friends as they pair up in different couple combinations.

Diana, a high-class prostitute trying to escape from a serial killer, suffers a car accident that leaves her blind and kills the family of Chin, a ten-year-old boy.

Arturo loses his tech job to an algorithm he created and ends up working as a delivery man, monitored by an unreasonably strict app. His only solace comes from Stella, a hologram-for-girlfriend whose free trial is running out. Unable to renew the subscription due to his financial uncertainty, Arturo decides to take a stand.

Arturo, a placid forty-year-old, unexpectedly receives the visit of an Angel of Death: a sexy woman with a weakness for tequila and younger boys. The supernatural being, Angela, invites him to a quick departure. However, Arturo wants to make a pact with his incorrect escort: he will accept his Destiny only if she helps him take revenge on all those who have made fun of him. Suddenly they are catapulted in the 1982, during the Spain World Cup, facing the real Banda della Magliana, which at that time had the control over illegal bets.
