Cícero Filho is a Brazilian filmmaker, born in the Maranhense city of Poção de Pedras but based in Teresina. Son of the owner of a community television station in Poção de Pedras, as a child he used his father's equipment to rehearse his first productions.

In the story, this northeastern woman is personified by Xanxa, chubby and friendly, who without having much hope that her life will improve, will try her luck in the big city. It is in the urban environment that she meets Bob, aspiring actor, only child, rich boy, handsome, spoiled and loved by his father Cachorrão. These two characters Xanxa and Bob, with completely different lives and expectations, live a great love.
The drama tells the story of Cristina, a poor girl who longs for better days, but in life Cristina carries a pain, the death of her mother during her birth and the abandonment of her father a few days after her birth.
