Based on real-life crimes that terrorized Hong Kong in the 1990s, Logan (Tony Leung Ka-Fai) is the head of leading a notorious human trafficking gang, abducting the children of Hong Kong's elite. Police forces decide to send in Sky (Louis Koo), a Hong Kong undercover agent whose mission is to infiltrate and save the hostages, all while bringing the gang and their leader to justice.

A suspected criminal mastermind escapes from police custody, throwing the city into turmoil. With the police department now divided, rival police chiefs are forced to take their fight to the streets of Hong Kong with deadly consequences.

Mr. Au is a new homeroom teacher of Form 5E, a class that has the lowest class average and is well known for its trouble-making trait in school. Recognizing such notorious reputation, he uses his extraordinary method to teach and care for the students. Although he is pinpointed by other teachers, he eventually wins the support of Miss Lam, who is the daughter of the principal, and the students of Form 5E.

Keong comes from Hong Kong to visit New York for his uncle's wedding. His uncle runs a market in the Bronx and Keong offers to help out while Uncle is on his honeymoon. During his stay in the Bronx, Keong befriends a neighbor kid and beats up some neighborhood thugs who cause problems at the market. One of those petty thugs in the local gang stumbles into a criminal situation way over his head.

When Chan comes to Vancouver to be with his wife, he finds her sleeping with a local cop, as well as discovering that the deed to his house has been sold. Devastated, he wanders the streets, and is eventually helped by a no-nonsense woman who is the sister of Chan's high-school friend. The two start an odd romance, which is periodically interrupted by the ghost of Chan's friend.

A washed up martial artist living in Los Angeles agrees to marry an illegal immigrant from Hong Kong to get her a Green Card and him some of her family fortune: but the odd couple are subjected to a whole lot of misfortune as their new life begins.

This is a film about a young boy, that is helped by a ghost, to reunite with his separated parents.

The film depicts the youthful troubles of three young couples in Hong Kong in a remarkably down-to-earth and touching way. Each character has a distinct personality, and their experiences reflect various aspects of Hong Kong society.
