Albania's top censorship institution of the 1970s - Comrade Zylo is a genius bureaucrat. He orders the talented writer Demka to draft a speech on ideological issues. Demka realizes that he has become a slave to a Machiavellian propaganda master of his superior. In this absurd world, Demka falls in love with Zylo's wife, Adila.

The two Albanian filmmakers Vani and Kaçi are invited to attend the Venice International Film Festival. They have been close friends since childhood until now on their 60's. At the beginning of the trip from Bari to Venice, they meet two actresses who working in the adult movies industry. From this moment on, the four of them continue the trip to Venice together wich brings a lot of turmoil for the unequal travel company of two conservative Albanians and two open-minded ladies with such different views of life.

Tom Melgushi, becoming overexcited from alcohol, wanders around the streets disturbing people. And one day, Flutura, a teacher of the village, gets on his cab, and there was a glimpse of hope for a stable relationship with the young woman. Tom becomes subject of public criticism after Flutura's accident, because she jumped out of the cab fearing Tom's violence.

Two young directors, Ilir and Sandri, are working on a new film, which deals with events from World War II.

In a weather of unexpected rains, work is suspended at the dam of an important hydropower station and the safety of the project is jeopardized. The situation weighs heavier on the chief designer, eng. Ilir, who together with his comrades does his best to come out of this difficult situation.

The events of film take place in the first days of May 1942 when Albania was under fascist occupation.The enemy is trying by all means to discover the leadership of the Communist Party of Albania wipe it out along with the people's National Liberation Movement. In this grave situation,the communists are faced with counter attack. The film reflects the stormy days of war, the ferocity of the enemy and the strength of the Party and the people who remain undaunted by terror and violence.

After World War II, the communist party of Albania must rebuild the country and implement the agrarian reform.
