The life of fifteen-year-old Sasha Kuznetsov seems ordinary: school, friends, tests. But behind simple conversations with his mother lies pain that they both try not to name out loud.

Vaso lives in Tbilisi. He has been happily married for more than thirty years and has two adult children. A young German, Werner Müller, turns out to be a volunteer in the neurological department of an ordinary St. Petersburg hospital. A foreigner, overwhelmed by the impulse to help all the sick and needy, has a long and eventful day ahead of him. Every now and then, finding himself in comical situations and making his way through misunderstandings, the volunteer discovers all the facets of the Russian national character.

Student bartender Vlad has been trying to win the heart of waitress Yana for a long time. And she is still waiting for the prince, who sooner or later will definitely drop by their provincial bar. A mysterious guest who appears just before closing on a rainy weekday evening is not an obstacle to true love.
