Max Richter recomposed Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in 2012, premiered by superstar violinist Daniel Hope. This reimagining brought one of the classical canon’s greatest hits to new audiences in techno clubs and on music platforms. To celebrate the tricentennial of the original, ARTE is showing a filmed staging of Richter’s work from 2014.

United in their support for Ukraine, violinist Daniel Hope and Ukrainian pianist Alexey Botvinov perform a concert for peace from Dresden's frauenkirche. Composers featured include Johann Sebastian Bach , the Ukrainian Valentin Silvestrov and Russians Alfred Schnittke and Sergei Rachmaninov.

With the war in Ukraine, Odessa Classics festival has found a temporary home in the Estonian capital. On the programme are works by Pärt, Mozart and Britten performed by Alexey Botvinov and Daniel Hope and the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Olari Elts.

In a special Christmas edition, violinist Daniel Hope and guests perform a varied and atmospheric repertoire including traditional Christmas songs in new arrangements, classical works and the hit song "Fields of Gold". Daniel Hope's guests are British musician, composer, and living-legend, Sting, Canadian pianist Bruce Liu, winner of the 18th International Chopin Piano Competition, South African soprano Golda Schultz, Argentinian-British guitarist Dominic Miller, Brazilian pianit Sylvia Thereza, the up-and-coming Leonkoro Quartet, cellist Nicola Mosca and percussionist Michael Metzler.
