Sandra returns to her cousin Mariana’s house in search of a photo of her late mother, who worked as a live-in maid for Mariana’s parents. Their reunion forces them to confront long buried memories, issues of race, family, and belonging, while a supernatural force lurks around them.

Under the context of a pandemic, the narrative addresses the feeling of suspension and uncertainty, so present today.
